Major: Undecided (1990-91)

Weight: 220 (1991), 215 (1990)

1991 Media Guide: Excellent young quarterback prospect who was redshirted last year … class drop-back passer, but agile enough to roll out when the situation warrants it … has great touch and good instincts, but needs game experience … hard worker and quick learner … had a good spring and could conceivably challenge Graham and Herbstreit for playing time this season, maybe even for the starting spot … has a very bright future.

1990 Media Guide: One of the top high school quarterbacks in the country last year and the object of a nationwide recruiting effort … consensus all-state and All-American (Parade, Street & Smith, Super Prep) selection … classic drop-back passer … three-year starter at quarterback … after a 6-4 finish his sophomore year, he guided St. Ignatius to 14-0 and 13-0 records the next two years, both of the latter resulting in state titles … threw for 2,240 yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior … career passing totals were 5,140 yards and 40 TDs, both school records … captained his high school football and baseball teams … a pitcher, he posted a 7-1 record and had a 0.90 ERA as a junior … an honor student in high school, he plans to study business at OSU.

Personal: Hobbies include all sports.
