2023: Played in 12 games in and earned his first Varsity O letter … totaled seven tackles last season, including his first TFL (versus Minnesota).

2022: He saw action in two games in 2022: vs. Toledo and Rutgers.

2022 Media Guide: Gabe was a part of the 2022 Ohio State recruiting class … he enrolled in classes at Ohio State in January of 2022 … Gabe was a top-50 national prospect in the Class of 2022 who was ranked No. 2 in the state of Ohio and No. 49 overall … named the 2021 Gatorade Ohio Player of the Year.

High School: Made 90 tackles, including 17 for loss, and six sacks as he led the Monarchs to a 12-1 record and the Division I, Region 2 championship game … was the nation’s No. 6-ranked linebacker … Powers played in all three phases of the game at Marysville and was the team’s top tackler, its leading rusher and was also the starting punter … had 61 tackles, four sacks, four forced fumbles and an interception in eight games as a junior in 2020.
