Post-OSU Update: Terry McLaurin was selected 76th overall (3rd round) in the 2019 NFL Draft by Washington. He has played all five years of his NFL career with Washington, starting every game he has played (80). After 919 receiving yards as a rookie, McLaurin ripped off four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons for Washington, making the Pro Bowl in 2022. 2017 Media Guide: Terry McLaurin, a fourth-year junior, is one of the most experienced receivers on the roster with 25 appearances the past two seasons including four starting assignments … he and Parris Campbell are the only receivers who have started games for the Buckeyes … McLaurin enters the 2017 season with 11 career receptions for 114 yards and two touchdowns … he is majoring in communications and interned for a week this summer at Nike … McLaurin is the definition of a team-first player: consider that he played the third-most plays on offense among receivers in 2016 but still contributed an additional 143 plays on special teams … he has been in on 370 special teams plays in two seasons and he has contributed 12 special teams tackles.

2016: McLaurin played in all 13 games, started four times (all on the road, at Wisconsin, Maryland, Michigan State and vs. Clemson in the CFP semifinals) and earned his second Varsity O letter … he caught 11 passes for 114 yards and a 10.4 yards-per-reception average … one of eight Buckeyes with at least 10 receptions … caught the first touchdown passes of his career: the first against Rutgers and the second vs. Nebraska … set personal bests with three catches for 28 yards in the win over Tulsa … caught his passes in streaks with two four-game streaks with at least one reception.

2016 Media Guide: Terry McLaurin is in his third year with the football program and is vying to become a key contributor at receiver this fall … he is coming off a rookie campaign in 2015 – he red-shirted the 2014 season as a true freshman – in which he played in all 13 games for the 12-1 Buckeyes … he was a key special teams player with 228 plays with high games of 31 plays vs. Indiana, 22 vs. Northern Illinois and 21 vs. both Virginia Tech and Maryland … McLaurin had the most playing time out of any receiver last year not named Miller, Thomas, Marshall or Samuel … he was among the leading tacklers on special teams with seven and he also had a fumble recovery.

considered a Top 50 wide receiver with a high ranking of No. 28 by 247Sports and additional rankings of No. 43 (Scout), No. 46 (Rivals) and No. 61 (ESPN) … his most impressive ranking might have been the No. 7 he received from another online organization, though, as in seventh-fastest prospect in his class (4.41 40).

High School: The speedy playmaker led Cathedral High School to the 2013 Indiana 5A state championship after winning three consecutive Class 4A titles between 2010-12 … McLaurin had three touchdowns, an interception and four tackles in the title game to cap a senior season in which he had 58 receptions for 953 yards and eight touchdowns and another 744 yards rushing and six more scores … had 312 rushing yards and four TDs in playoff win over Decatur Central … recorded 820 receiving yards and 16 total touchdowns as a junior … returned two kickoffs for TDs as a senior and two punts for TDs as a junior.
