Post-OSU Update: Jaelen Gill transferred from Ohio State in Spring of 2020. According to his high school coach, Gill committed to Ohio State with visions of filling Urban’s Meyer’s vaunted H-Back position (in the mold of Curtis Samuel). Ryan Day’s playbook eliminated this role, so Gill headed to Boston College. He played three years with B.C., catching between 24 and 29 passes each year, while not running the ball. For his sixth year of eligibility in 2023, Gill transferred to Fresno State and had his best season as a collegian: 49 catches for 516 yards and six touchdowns. (updated: Feb. 2024)

Major: New Media and Communication Technology (2019)
