2006 Media Guide: Like his classmate, Ryan Williams, is a promising young defensive end who was redshirted last year and then suffered a knee injury in bowl practice that required two surgeries … subsequently sat out winter conditioning and spring practice … began running in May and is expected to take place in fall camp, although he may be running under a yellow flag during the preseason while the medical staff evaluates his condition … has added 16 pounds since last year and has greatly increased his strength during the rehabilitation process … when he does get the green light to return, he will be a very welcome addition to the defensive front … ran a 4.75 in high school and was considered one of the top defensive line prospects in the nation.
