1999 Media Guide: Ben Pulfer is an intelligent young football player who has a quality work ethic and attitude. He has battled through a serious knee injury and rehabilitation as a freshman and now he is in the midst of a position change, moving from defensive tackle to offensive tackle. “We think the transition from defense to offense is a big step for Ben,” offensive line coach Mike Jacobs said. “He really played well this spring on offense and he will contribute for us this year.”
1998: Practiced along the defensive line but did not see any game action. Was named an OSU Scholar-Athlete for the second time in his two years at Ohio State.
