Post-OSU Update: Zach Turnure graduated from Ohio State in December of 2017. He began taking MBA classes online at Lindenwood University in January and moved to St. Louis to take classes in person the following year. It was then that he became curious if he had exhausted his athletic eligibility. It turned out that he hadn’t and he joined the football team at the Division II program. Turnure had 28 tackles in seven games for Lindenwood in his final season. (updated: Jan. 2024)

High School: Turnure was a U.S. Lacrosse All-American at Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis and a first-team all-state performer … he captained his 2013 lacrosse team that won a state championship and was a captain on his football team as a senior as well … first-team all-state in as a senior and his league’s defensive player of the year … also earned first team all-metro and all-district accolades as a junior.
