2015 Media Guide: Tyler Durbin is in his first year with the football program after initially walking on to the team in the spring of 2015 … this is his first year of competitive football, but he is an athlete.

High School: He played soccer for two seasons at James Madison University after a stellar high school and club soccer career that included all metro, all-district and all-region honors … played for club team Annandale United … scored first collegiate goal for JMU in 2013 vs. Binghamton … was an honors graduate from Lake Braddock with better than a 4.0 grade point average.

Personal: Is majoring in civil engineering … the son of Sandy and Martin Durbin, and has two siblings: older sister Emily and a younger brother, Stephen.
