1980 Media Guide: Must guard against excess weight … was the top guard on the team in spring drills … a dependable athlete who will make a minimum of mistakes … did not miss a day of practice in 1978 and ’79 … will start at left guard for Ohio State.
1979: Alternated with Ernie Andria at left guard in 1979 … played 110.5 minutes in 11 games, missing only the UCLA contest.
