Post-OSU Update: After being a co-captain and first-team All-Big Ten selection his senior year, Mark Krerowicz was selected with the 147th overall pick (6th round) of the 1985 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. Krerowicz played only three games in the NFL, starting all three with the Browns in the 1987 NFL season. (updated: Apr. 2023)

1983: Voted “Top Offensive Lineman in 1983” by Buckeye coaches … started all 12 games and played 267 minutes … U.P.I. named him second team all-Big Ten.

1983 Media Guide: Although not highly recruited at St. John’s High, he attracted the attention of Ohio State because of his size and desire.

1982: Lettered and played 33.5 minutes.

1982 Media Guide: A strong performance in spring drills has advanced Mark to the second team … although not highly recruited, Buckeye coaches believe he can be outstanding.

1981: Played a total of 17.5 minutes in three games as a freshman … showed steady improvement throughout the season.

High School: His top thrill came when he returned a deflected pass 33 yards to defeat rival Central Catholic High, 17-14 … named “Top Offensive Lineman” in the Toledo championship game in 1980.
