2016 Media Guide: Joe Ramstetter is a true senior and is in his fourth season with the football program … he was an invited walk-on to the team at the start of 2013 fall camp … while he has yet to see his first game action, he has contributed as a scout team performer … he is an OSU Scholar-Athlete.

2015 Media Guide: Joe Ramstetter is a true junior and is in his third season with the football program.

2014 Media Guide: Joe Ramstetter is in his second season with the football program after initially being an invited walk-on to the team at the start of 2013 fall camp … he had the honor last fall of being the first newcomer on the 2013 team to lose the black stripe off his helmet, and thus proved to the coaches that he was ready to be a contributing member of the football team.

High School: Ramstetter played for coach Doug Ramsey at Elder High School … he was named to the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Division I all-area team in 2012 after catching 51 passes for 1,005 yards and scoring 15 touchdowns … he was also first-team all-Greater Catholic League South … considered playing baseball for Dayton before opting to continue his football career.

Personal: Is the son of Maria and Mark Ramstetter and has two younger siblings: Alyssa and Jacob.
