2006 Media Guide: Graduate of Duke University, who walked on at Ohio State in 2005 as a reserve long snapper … is currently pursuing a master’s degree in labor and human resources management at OSU … played three years of football at Duke and earned two letters as a long snapper … graduated at the end of three years and enrolled at Ohio State in the fall of 2005.
2005: Did not see any game action, but calls his first year at OSU an unbelievable experience … would not have been required to sit out the year as a transfer since he had his degree from Duke and was pursuing a master’s degree at Ohio State in a field that was not offered by his previous school.
2002-04: Walked on at Duke and played three years, earning two letters.
High School: Ran track and field in high school … competed in hammer throw and was rated as one of the top throwers in the nation … played football as a freshman and sophomore (linebacker, tight end and long snapper), but then gave up the sport to concentrate on track.
Personal: Is the son of Peter and Debra Till, both of whom are Ohio State graduates … has an older brother, Andrew, and a younger brother, Grant … Andrew is a graduate of Wisconsin and currently works in New York (2006) … Grant is a freshman at Michigan (2006) and is a member of the track team … still enjoys the hammer throw and uses it as a way of working out for long snapping.
