Although he arrived in Columbus from the state of Michigan, he grew up in Cincinnati and said he, “always wanted to be a Buckeye.” Not surprising since his father, Tom, kicked four field goals in Ohio State’s 12-10 win over Michigan in 1974 and is still in the Buckeye record book in several categories.

1999: Played in two games, both on special teams – action came against Ohio University (his first collegiate appearance) and Iowa.
