Post-OSU Update: Brien Smith transferred from Ohio State after one year to Virginia Union to be closer to home. After a very successful career at VU, Smith was seriously injured in a car accident on the way to a CFL tryout. After football, he began a career in business. (updated: Mar. 2024)
