Post-OSU Update: Alphonso “Biggie” Townsend never attended Ohio State. After committing, he reclassified and attended Fork Union Military Academy for a year before enrolling at Michigan State. He transferred again to North Alabama. In 2020 he was hired as head football coach at Lima Senior. He had been working as a campus protection officer and defensive line coach at the school at the time of his promotion to head coach. (Updated: Aug. 2025)
